11:00 So, are you enlightened yet?
Tell someone you're Buddhist and they'll likely ask, 'So, are you enlightened yet?' To be honest, it's not an easy question to answer--the word enlightenment means different things in different contexts. But like other religions, Buddhism has a desired outcome, and that's often expressed as enlightenment. In this talk, Sensei Morris Doshin Sullivan will share his thoughts on what it means to be enlightened, if enlightenment is really possible, and if it's only available to people who perform special religious practices. Worship leader, Judy Raymond, will guide us through our service.
    11:00 - 12:00
  • Wednesday 11th of October
    National Coming Out Day
  • Sunday 15th of October
11:00 The Sweet Smell of Discovering Joy
Join us this Sunday as we meet in person at The Center at Deltona (1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. Deltona, Florida 32725.) This, as with every service, will occur virtually as well.

In this crazy world that we live in—and with how busy our lives seem to be—it can be difficult to find and cultivate joy amid all of the chaos. But oftentimes, if we slow down enough to reflect on simple, familiar rituals, there is a lot beneath the surface that can help lead us to find joy. Join Rev. Matt for a discussion—partly inspired by a really good pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks—of how we can journey in search of that elusive joy that we are seeking. Worship leader, Jan Holloway, will guide us through our service.
