So, are you enlightened yet?

Tell someone you’re Buddhist and they’ll likely ask, “So, are you enlightened yet?”  To be honest, it’s not an easy question to answer–the word enlightenment means different things in different contexts. But like other religions, Buddhism has a desired outcome, and that’s often expressed as enlightenment.  In this talk, Sensei Morris Doshin Sullivan will share his thoughts on what it means to be enlightened, if enlightenment is really possible, and if it’s only available to people who perform special religious practices. Worship leader, Judy Raymond, will guide us through our service.
